ENGAGEMENT & COUPLES PHOTOGRAPHY ON FILM
Barcelona, Mallorca, the French Riviera, Portofino & beyond
Not every love story starts at the altar. Some of my most meaningful work happens outside of weddings — a morning walking through Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, an afternoon on the Mallorcan coast, a surprise proposal on a sailboat at sunset, a quiet anniversary session in a city that means something to both of you.
Every session here was photographed on analog film — Kodak Portra for the warmth, the softness, and the way it makes Mediterranean light look the way it actually feels. I shoot on medium format (Contax 645), which means each frame is deliberate, each moment is chosen. There's no spray-and-pray, no rapid-fire bursts. Just presence — yours and mine — and the kind of images that feel more real with every year that passes.
I photograph engagement sessions, couple portraits, honeymoon sessions, and anniversary celebrations across Barcelona, Mallorca, the south of Spain, France, Italy, and Portugal. I know the light in these places because I've been photographing here for years — not as a visitor, but as someone who lives in the Mediterranean and works in it daily. I can tell you where to stand at what hour in the Gothic Quarter, which beach in Mallorca empties at sunset, which courtyard in Seville catches the light through an arch at exactly 5pm. That knowledge is part of what you get when you book a session with me.

YOUR SESSION
Sessions typically last 1.5–2 hours and move through one or two locations at a relaxed pace. I'll help you choose the location and timing based on the light, the season, and the feeling you're after. Every session includes both medium format film and digital, professionally processed at Carmencita Film Lab, and delivered as a full gallery of high-resolution images.
Whether it's a pre-wedding engagement session, a surprise proposal, an anniversary, or simply two people who want beautiful photographs in an extraordinary place — I'd love to hear about your plans.
